Doctoral programmes
CRESIB leads a line of research in International Health within the Doctoral Programme of Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine at the Universitat de Barcelona.
The centre participates in Training Fellowship Programmes which aim to provide scientific training to young graduates from Mozambique (in collaboration with the Centro de Investigação em Saúde de Manhiça – Fundaçao Manhiça) and Morocco (in collaboration with the Centre Hôpitalier Universitaire Ibn Sina - Université Mohamed V and the Institut National d’Administration Sanitaire – Ministère de la Santé du Maroc) so they can embark on research of interest for their own country. These programmes include postgraduate, master and/or doctoral studies.
CRESIB also organizes short courses and continuous training programmes, seminars, workshops, conferences and similar activities on its own and in collaboration with other institutions.
CRESIB, together with the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat de Barcelona, is member of the tropEd network for education and training in the field of international health (www.tropEd.org), of the Eurolife International Health Alliance (EIHA) (www.eurolifeuniversities.org), and most recently of the European Academic Global Health Alliance (EAGHA).
