Training

 

CRESIB aims to become a reference centre and facilitator for international health training. With the intention of creating and consolidating its role as a reference centre in this area, CRESIB develops its own training programmes, and collaborates with a wide range of institutions. Our objectives in training are:


1. To promote knowledge of international health issues and to improve the training of health professionals to manage imported and tropical diseases.

2. To train highly qualified investigators in specific areas related to international health (mainly through masters programs, PhDs and continued training).

3. To train technical, medical and scientific personnel from the poorest countries.

CRESIB, and the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat de Barcelona, are members of the  TropED network for education and training in international health.
